Araki/Zorn exhibition. Thielska Galleriet, Stockholm

We were excited to assist our dear friend and longtime collaborator Andreas Brändström, the great curator/dealer, in the production and packaging of this bold show juxtaposing a collection of large format vintage prints by controversial Japanese master photographer Nobuyoshi Araki with the museum’s rarely shown, partly semi-pornographic vast collection of Swedish national artist Anders Zorn’s nude etchings. The show, perhaps not surprisingly, aroused uproar among the museum’s conservative regular audience, and in the press, but was very well attended and has proven much insprational among a younger audience of creatives.
