When we were forced out of our Stockholm studio due to renovation of the building, and given an oversized temporary space as compensation by the landlords, we decided to use all the excess space to create a temporary “art lounge,” also featuring unique vintage interiors and design objects, in collaboration with Andreas Brändström, the great curator, dealer and museum director. Here, for a year plus, we staged a number of exhibitions, events, various social gatherings and parties. Our friends Jonas Kleerup, art dealer and DJ/music producer, and Thomas Ekström, art and design dealer, also participated in this most pleasant, improvised venture. Some of the artists we showed were Per Kirkeby, Mika Rottenberg, Jessica Stockholder, Ylva Ogland, Ulf Rollof, Peter Geschwind, Matias Faldbakken, Mikael Jansson and Julia Hetta.
