When we were forced out of our Stockholm studio due to renovation of the building, and given an oversized temporary space as compensation by the landlords, we decided to use all the excess space to create a temporary “art lounge,” also featuring unique vintage interiors and design objects.
The venture was a collaboration with our dear friend Andreas Brändström, the great curator, dealer and museum director. Here, an extended year, we staged a number of exhibitions, events, various social gatherings and parties. Our friends Jonas Kleerup, art dealer and DJ/music producer, and Thomas Ekström, art and design dealer, also participated in this most pleasant, improvised initiative.
Some of the artists we showed were Per Kirkeby, Mika Rottenberg, Jessica Stockholder, Carsten Höller, Monica Bonvicini, Ylva Ogland, Ulf Rollof, Peter Geschwind, Matias Faldbakken, Mikael Jansson and Julia Hetta. In addition to the art and design exhibition, we staged a number of events and parties, commissioned by and in collaboration with various clients, partners and creative collaborators.
